The Drainback Valve was designed and developed by Specialty Engine Components L.L.C. specifically for the Automotive Industry. Its use is designed to maintain a constant fluid level in the torque converter during periods when the vehicle is not in use. This provides for smooth transmission operation from the moment the vehicle is started. This technology is now applied to most motor vehicles manufactured in the United States.
